The tuning rings are an accessory for the stars-recorder ("Sternen Recorder") model series.
They are supplied as a 2-piece set.They are used to retune the 440 Hz bodies to 432 Hz. This is done by inserting the smaller tuning ring into the heart of the head and sliding the larger ring onto the tenon of the body.
