The Chalumeau
Our Chalumeau mimics original instruments through its narrow bore. However, it was not created to be a copy, but a contemporary interpretation of old models.
The mouthpiece is an E-flat clarinet mouthpiece. This means that commercially available E-flat clarinet reeds can be used.
The instrument is treated to give a historically stained appearance, and can confidently perform in a historical setting in style.
