The description
The Clarineau is the ideal student instrument for those who want to approach the woodwind instruments of modern reed instruments. The Clarineau reaches into the lower octave like a recorder, making it easier to get in and out of this wonderful member of the woodwind family.
Our Clarineau was developed according to the wishes of Thomas Denig, a clarinet teacher at the Freie Musikschule Hamburg.
The range
The range: chromatic c' - g". Depending on the approach, experienced musicians will achieve a larger range.
Wise of grip
The lower part of the model with the article number: 817-076U is delivered with the handle: German handle.
The bore of the lower part
The geometry of the inner bore of the Clarineaus is cylindrical. This type of drilling process gives the Clarineau its typical sound.
In principle, instruments with a further bore sound warmer, fuller, more fundamental and thus more ensembleable than models with a narrower inner bore.
You need a separate mouthpiece
The lower part is optimized for a Bb clarinet mouthpiece in Böhmbauweise. This mouthpiece is not included in the delivery.
The carcass
The instrument is made of tonewood that has been matured for many years. The wood was impregnated with paraffin for protection against moisture and oiled with a special vegetable oil mixture.
The sound characteristics
This is due to the congenial combination of the ingenious design in symbiosis with the tonal colours of the pearwood used.
The pearwood material used gives the instruments an incomparably soft and warm sound.
id=3;For instruments built with keys, a key bearing construction based on historical ideas but perfected by us is used. This construction reliably protects the springs and cushions of the flaps.
Since most of the flaps are recessed into the body, damage can be virtually ruled out even in rough school conditions.
Multi-part ratio
The lower part of the instrument consists of the following parts: 1-piece. It weighs a net 0.147 kilograms.
