Description
The Clarineau is the ideal entry-level instrument for anyone interested in approaching the woodwind instruments saxophone or clarinet. The fingering of the Clarineaus is similar to that of the recorder in the lower octave, making it easier to prepare for these fascinating woodwinds.
Our Clarineau was developed according to the wishes of Thomas Denig, clarinet teacher at the Freie Musikschule Hamburg.
Sound range
The range: chromatic c' - g". Experienced musicians reach a larger range.
Wise of grip
The model with the article number: 827-076K is delivered with the following fingering: German fingering.
The scale
The geometry of the inner bore of the Clarineaus is cylindrical. This type of drilling process gives the model its typical sound.
In principle, instruments with a further bore sound warmer, fuller, more fundamental and thus more ensembleable than reed instruments with a narrower bore.
mouthpiece
The Chalumeau is the precursor of the clarinet. This instrument is blown on with an approach comparable to the modern clarinet approach.
The Clarineau combines in a special way the warmth of the historical Chalumeau with the advantages of the current clarinet mouthpieces.
Because it is well known that a wind instrument can only sound as good as the mouthpiece allows, we deliver our instruments with a high-quality Boehm Bb clarinet mouthpiece. That has been thoroughly tuned and adapted to the Clarineau.
Sheets
The reeds are made in Germany by a noble craftsman especially for us. The material used is proven to be free of pesticides and harmful substances.
We are of the opinion that these small but effective differences distinguish Clarineaus in their quality. Often it is the sum of the small things that make the whole thing so superior.
Corpus
The body of the instrument is made of well seasoned wood. The body was impregnated with paraffin and oiled with linseed oil to protect against moisture.
Sound properties
This special feature is due to the special marriage of the outstanding model in interaction with the timbre of the pearwood material used.
The pearwood material used gives the instruments a unique warm and soft sound.
The Clarineaus, which are built with flaps, use a unique design of the flap bearing. This construction protects the cushions and springs of the dampers safely.
Since the flaps are integrated into the body, damage can be virtually ruled out.
Construction of the body
The instrument is multi-part and consists of the following parts: 2-part (Boehm clarinet mouthpiece, lower part). It weighs 0.143 kilograms without packaging and accessories.
Packaging and accessories
The packaging is a multi-part cotton bag. The Clarineau is offered as standard with the appropriate accessories: Care oil, wiper rod, dry cloth, cone grease, care instructions, fingering chart
Special equipment
As an optional accessory, you can also order the instrument with a GF tissue blade screw. This makes the fixing of the reed much easier and allows a more defined fit of the reed.
The GF woven blade screw, along with the mouthpiece and body, has a very large influence on the sound and response of the instrument.
The gold-plated fabric leaf screw fits perfectly like a tailor-made suit on the mouthpiece and fixes the leaf so securely and quickly on this.
Due to the ingenious mechanics (left-hand and right-hand threads of the spindle), a symmetrical tensile force is exerted on the blade when the blade screw is tightened, so that it remains in the set position.
The safety ring on the thread of the mechanism prevents the mouthpiece from being scratched when the blade screw is put on. The printed crosshair on the ribbon makes it much easier for you to set up the sheet.
