Lower Pocket-Clarineau, baroque double hole, 440Hz
The descriptionThe Clarineau is the ideal instrument for beginners who want to get closer to the wind instruments saxophone or clarinet. The fingering of the Clarineaus is similar to that of the recorder in the lower octave, making it easier to switch to these unique woodwinds.
It was developed according to the wishes of Thomas Denig, clarinet teacher at the Freie Musikschule Hamburg.
The rangeThe range: chromatic c' - g". Experienced musicians can achieve a larger range.
Wise of grip
The lower part of the model with the item number: 817-072U is offered with the following fingering: Baroque fingering.
The bore of the lower partThe inner bore of the Clarineaus is cylindrical. This type of drilling process gives the instrument its typical sound.
In principle, reed instruments with a further bore sound warmer, fuller, more fundamental and thus more ensembleable than instruments with a narrower bore.
You need a separate mouthpieceThe lower part is optimized for a Bb clarinet mouthpiece in Böhmbauweise. This mouthpiece is not included in the delivery.
The carcassThe instrument is made of wood that has been matured for many years. The body was treated with paraffin for impregnation and oiled with a special vegetable oil mixture.
The sound characteristicsThis is largely due to the clever combination of the unique design in symbiosis with the advantages of the pearwood material used. The pearwood material used gives the instruments their particularly soft and warm sound. The Clarineaus, which are built with flaps, use a unique design of the flap bearing. This construction protects the springs and cushions of the flaps safely.
Since the keys are almost completely embedded in the body, damage can be virtually ruled out even during hard concert tours.
Construction of the bodyThe Clarineau lower part is multi-part and consists of the following parts: 1-part. The lower part weighs 0.147 kilograms net.
