Bassetblockflöte „HP-Original“, Master, Birkensperrholz Natur, Paetzold by Kunath

In stock

The instrument from the model series MASTER with the model number: 449 by Paetzold by Kunath is a recorder that always gives fun anew while playing.
The instrument owes this circumstance mainly to the clever marriage of the thoughtful model design in symbiosis with the qualities of the birch plywood used.

This material captivates with the instrument remarkably pleasantly by its unusual advantages. The characteristics can be described approximately in such a way, whereby it lies in the nature of the thing that sounds can be described always only very inadequately with words. Therefore, the sound of recorders is perceived and described by everyone in a slightly varying way: Wooden and warm.

The scale

The inner bore of the recorder is cylindrical and wider. This type of drilling process gives the instrument its typical sound.
In principle, recorders with a further bore sound warmer, fuller, more fundamental and thus more ensembleable than instruments with a narrower bore.

What music can the instrument be used for?

Birch plywood is particularly suitable for instruments that are used in ensembles, in choral playing and as solo instruments.

Who is this recorder for?

This means that instruments made of birch plywood are particularly suitable for beginners. A second noteworthy rule of thumb is that a more qualitative instrument naturally makes learning progress easier than what at first glance appears to be a cheaper offer.

The Wind Tunnel of a Recorder

The wind tunnel is the area in the instrument headpiece where the blowing air of the musician is formed into a thin air blade. This air leaf is the nucleus of the instrument's sound production. At the labium, the oscillation generating the flute tone is generated from the air leaf. The shape of the wind tunnel is thus extremely important for the musical expression of the instrument.

The instrument 449 by Paetzold by Kunath has a wind tunnel that is straight and conical.
Conical wind tunnels accelerate the air blade more than cylindrical ones.
Wind tunnels are naturally complex in their design and many parameters influence each other.

Wise of grip

The flute Paetzold by Kunath MASTER 449 is manufactured in the version: Baroque fingering.

It is not always possible to place tone holes in the parts of the body that can be comfortably reached with the fingers. Especially with larger recorders, some tone holes are located in places that are not ergonomically accessible due to tuning-relevant necessities. With these instruments flaps are mounted, which facilitate the gripping {easily|, or make it possible at all only at all.
The instrument 449 has the following keys: Paetzold full folding. This allows players with smaller hands to grip it comfortably. The shape of the flaps is unique and legally protected. Especially in the Asian region these instruments are often used in schools by well-known teachers for young players.
But even adult players with small hands appreciate the advantages of Paetzold full folding.

Multi-part ratio

The number of parts of a musical instrument strongly influences the way in which the flute can be used, on the one hand, for easy assembly and, on the other hand, for safe transport.
This is a point not to be underestimated, especially when transporting larger (and sometimes several) instruments.
Experienced ensemble players can sing you a song about it.

Packaging and accessories

The instrument is offered as standard with optional bag / case and the following accessories: Fat jar, fingering chart, care instructions
