Kunath 2-Keys Clarineau - Grenadilla Edition (Limited Edition)
The popular Kunath 2-key Clarineau is now available in a particularly fine version made of grenadilla wood (Dalbergia melanoxylon) - produced in limited numbers for musicians who are looking for something out of the ordinary.
Grenadilla, the classic wood used in clarinet making, gives the Clarineau a finely drawn sonority with dark, sustaining depth.
While the pear wood model impresses with its warm, velvety colour and lightness, the grenadilla version stands for clarity, projection and resonance - it takes response and dynamics to a new level. The sound is more compact, focussed and richer in overtones, ideal for ensembles, chamber music and expressive soloists.
The 2 key system makes it easier to intonate demanding passages.
The Clarineau is supplied complete with Boehm Bb clarinet mouthpiece, fabric ligature, protective cap, 1.5 reed, maintenance oil, cleaning rod with cloth, cork grease, fingering chart and bag.
All commercially available Boehm clarinet reeds are compatible.
